Week 25. The LORD is robed in majesty.

Week 25’s readings through Psalm 73 – 106 included many beautiful verses about nature.   Psalm 93 reminded me especially of the ocean.  

Here are some of my ocean photos with Psalm 93:

“The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty;

The LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength;

Indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.

Your throne was established long ago;

You are from all eternity.

The seas have lifted up, LORD,

The seas have lifted up their voice;

The seas have lifted up their pounding waves.

Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,

Mightier than the breakers of the sea-

The LORD on high is mighty.

Your statues, LORD, stand firm;

Holiness adorns your house

For endless days.

Nature reminds us of God’s awesome power.  And we are also reminded of God’s faithfulness, because no matter what is happening, the sun rises and the sun sets…the tide rises and the tide falls…and the seasons continue year after year. 

“Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me! “
